Đối với hầu hết mọi người, thể hiện bản sắc văn hoá của mình thường là một cách để thể hiện mình là ai và họ liên quan đến người khác như thế nào. Nó có thể được chứng minh qua ngôn ngữ, thức ăn, quần áo, niềm tin, âm nhạc và lễ hội. Trong số các tính năng này, ngôn ngữ là điều khiến tôi là người Việt Nam. Điều này có một vài nguyên nhân.
Tiếng Việt là ngôn ngữ có thể đoàn kết dân tộc ta trong tình trạng nguy hiểm. Mặc dù có hơn năm mươi dân tộc, tất cả chúng ta đều sử dụng tiếng Việt làm ngôn ngữ chính thức. Đó là phương tiện truyền thông tại trường học và trong cộng đồng của mình. Nó cho phép tôi trải nghiệm và chia sẻ văn hóa của dân tộc mình.
Tôi cũng tự hào khi nói một ngôn ngữ có lịch sử lâu dài. Mặc dù đất nước tôi từng bị xâm chiếm bởi các quốc gia khác, ngôn ngữ này vẫn luôn được giữ tồn tại. Tiếng Việt hiện đại phát triển từ một hình thức cổ xưa tương tự như các ngôn ngữ châu Á khác. Nó được viết với bảng chữ cái Latinh kết hợp các chữ cái với các dấu hiệu giai điệu.
Tóm lại, tiếng Việt như ngôn ngữ cộng đồng và ngôn ngữ quốc gia là lực lượng thống nhất mạnh nhất. Đó là lý do tại sao nó cũng là phần có ý nghĩa nhất trong bản sắc văn hoá của chúng ta. Ngôn ngữ đẹp và độc đáo này khẳng định tôi như một người và tôi rất tự hào về nó.

Some people believe cultural identity is how we identify ourselves as part of a culture. This can simply be done through the language we use, the food we often have, or the clothing we often wear on special occasions. In my opinion, festivals and cultural practices celebrated and preserved years after years are the most important cultural identifiers.
Through festivals, we want to express our unity as well as a cultural identifier. Originally, festivals are special occasions when people at a particular place stop working in order to celebrate parties or events. They are often connected with religious beliefs of a specific group of people to thank Gods and ancestors for good harvests, fortune, and happiness.
Along with festivals, cultural practices are unique ways of expressing who we are and what country or culture we belong to. These are traditionally considered the right things to do in a community. For example, Vietnamese people usually go to pagodas on first days of New Year to pray for good health and happiness. Although we are now in modern time, these traditions are well preserved respectably as a cultural stereotype.
As people all over the world become closer and closer, we share our festivals and cultural practices - the most important features. We organize international festivals and take part in various kinds of cultural events in other countries. This is always a meaningful way of identifying, sharing and preserving cultures.
